Astor Piazzolla's introduction of new rhythms and harmonies into the tango won him worldwide fame. Tango Suite, for two guitars, is one of the finest duo works in the repertoire, offering fireworks and percussive effects as well as exquisite melancholy.

3 Violin Sonatas
“If I ever played a different instrument it would be the violin.” Playing Bach’s music on guitar requires creative adaptation — taking into account the particularities of the instrument and employing its best qualities, while staying true to the composer’s intention. All three sonatas are transcribed in their original keys by Manuel Barrueco.

¡Acentuado!
¡Acentuado! means “accented” in Spanish — a fundamental element of tango music and dance. Astor Piazzolla dedicated his life to the tango, transforming the traditional form into a new style, nuevo tango, incorporating elements of both classical and jazz.
