The artist
Yuri Liberzon is a Naxos recording artist — five solo and collaborative albums, with a third Naxos album in production. He studied with Manuel Barrueco at the Peabody Conservatory and Benjamin Verdery at Yale University, on full scholarship at both, and his concert transcriptions of Bach and Scarlatti are published by Bergmann Edition, with arrangements also appearing in Soundboard, the quarterly of the Guitar Foundation of America. The United States granted him permanent residency as an Alien of Extraordinary Ability for his achievements in music.
Yuri has appeared in recital and masterclass settings across the United States and Israel, including the 92nd Street Y in New York, the Tel Aviv Guitar Festival, Oregon State University, Portland State University, Chapman University, Florida State University, and the Marlow Guitar Series. He is equally at home in concert series, university residencies, and guitar societies.

Logistics & fees
Yuri is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and performs nationally and internationally. A solo recital needs very little from the hall: quiet, a chair, and stage lighting — amplification only in larger venues. Masterclasses and university residencies are available alongside performances. Fees depend on program, travel, and residency components — write for a quote.
