Back when I was a student, I found great benefits from studying fingerings made by reputable guitarists. They taught me about the player’s way of thinking, how to troubleshoot technical problems and make certain passages more comfortable as well as allow the music to speak better. I am happy to offer some of my fingerings solutions here for the general public free of charge. I can only share music that is in the public domain, such as music by J.S. Bach. Hope you will find my fingerings and scores valuable to your learning.

One of my students has asked me to work on the famous Prelude from the E major Violin Partita, BWV 1006 or 4th Lute Suite, BWV 1006a by J. S. Bach.

I looked around for a good version with good fingerings and was not able to find one. So I made a version with my own fingerings addressing lots of technical issues that needed to be resolved. I think I did.

I am happy to share it here in case someone wants to check out my fingerings and thought process.
